A nice place to stay. good value for the price

This house is a good place to stay and the rent I paid for 2 nights was reasonable. It is closer to many ski resorts ( winter) and Donner lake beach area (summer), grocery and shopping. The rooms are good size and bathrooms were wellstocked with necessary items. But there are some cons too. The photoes posted on their site makes the rooms look bigger, while actually they r not. The first night we saw lots of bugs coming out of carpet in the living room. The living room sofas are not at all comfy.. Infact, the fabric sofa is very dirty and we had to put a sheet on it to sit. The house is located on a hill and u will have to go through lots of bylanes to reach the house

Family came to town for my grand daughters high school graduation and stayed at the Chapman House. The house was very nice and all had a great time.

Warm inside, snow outside.

No complaints at all. We had over 14" of snow one night and a guy with a snowblower came the next morning to clear the driveway. Great experience all around.

Everything was great about the Cabin. There are some concerns, the biggest of them is lack of WiFi internet connection. Second concern was the small TV. Also there were no toilet paper and dish washer detergent. Other wise the place was clean, and roomy. We'd love to come back and stay there again.
