Awesome weekend

A few of my friends went up to Truckee to visit a friend who lives in Truckee year round. My friend didnt have enough room to comfortable house all of us so we decided to all chip in on a rental house. Martis was perfect. Everything was really nice, furniture, kitchen, living room, etc. Had a grill and a bathroom in each bedroom. The bedrooms are downstairs separate from the rest of the house. I was with my girlfriend and she felt comfortable and satisfied the whole time. The service was great, friendly and helpful. Booking this house made our weekend. What we paid was very reasonable and them house ended up being in walking distance from my friend. I will definitely rent through TVP again and will definitely rent Martis again.

We arrived around 7pm on Thursday night. The rental office was really hard to find. No lights, "sign" turned out to be a business card on the front door, and address was not lighted and hard to see. Once I retried the keys, we have similar issues finding the property. No visible address at night. The property manager did not go to the property before our arrival and turn on outside lights, nor did they turn on the heat. We arrived to a freezing cold condo that took hours to become comfortable.Condo itself is very nice. New, clean and well furnished. Cable TV did not work, and baseboard heaters on lower level take forever to heat up, but again that would have been ok had the property managers turned the heat on in advance

This property is awesome. From the minute we turned the key in lock we were impressed. This property had everything we needed and was close to everything. We utilized the supermarket (Safeways), we had Thai food which was amazing from 100 metres away at the roundabout for Xmas dinner no less! We made a snow man on the deck and sleded on the hill next to the property. We skied Boreal, Northstar and our favorite alpine, we dined at the diner in town (main street), Zabos (???) for pizza which was fab and dairy queen for dessert, which was interesting. The company we booked through (Truckee vacation rentals) was awesome as we did all this from New Zealand and they were fab and very accommodating and very understanding when we didn't understand how to operate the water system... We were being respectful by not ringing on Xmas day but if we had read the instructions properly we would have got it!!! I would recommend this property in a heart beat.
