Nice pretty up to date home! Driveway was shoveled, there were toys for the kids to play with, the kitchen was well stocked..
The only problem we had was with the fireplace; we tried following the directions but maybe the flu just wouldn't open (?), as it got very smokey and we had to just put the fire out and open the windows for a bit. If there was firewood outside it was burried in snow, so we had to get some at Safeway, and then were unable to use it. Not a big deal though.
Would certainly love to stay there again. We were skiing at the little Tahoe Donner Mtn (good place to take kids and beginner skiers, quite affordable), and it was easy to get to from this house.
The folks at Tahoe Truckee Vacation Properties were very friendly, and let us check out a little late because there was nobody booked to come in the next day. With some non-skiers in our group, that was most appreciated!
